FULL CONTEST RULES ("the Rules")
1) The Alliance for Equality of Blind Canadians (the "AEBC") 20th Anniversary President's Contest (the "Contest") commences at 12:00:01 am PST on November 15, 2011 and concludes at 4:00 pm PST on May 26, 2012 (the "Contest Period"). The time at which the Contest concludes is referred to in these Contest Rules as the "Contest Closing Time".
2) Participants who purchase a 20th Anniversary virtual brick from the AEBC shall, notwithstanding any other consideration to which this purchase may entitle the participant, be entitled to one entry in the Contest for every whole dollar contributed to the AEBC, either through the purchase of a brick or otherwise, during the Contest Period.
3) Participants will receive an additional entry in the Contest for every whole dollar donated to the AEBC during which the donor self-identifies that they were referred to the AEBC by the Participant. Additional entries accrue to all referred participants accordingly. All referreed donations must be identified at the time the donation is made. No claim for "referree credits" may be made after the fact.
(For the sake of clarity only, this means that if Person A buys a brick and donates $10, they will have 10 entries. If Person B buys a brick and donates $5 and indicates that Person A referred them, then Person A would receive an additional 5 entries. If Person C buys a brick and donates $8, and indicates that Person B referred them, then Person B would receive an additional 8 entries, and Person A would receive an additional 8 entries, thus leaving Person A with a total of 23 entries.)
4) No purchase is necessary to enter the Contest. A participant may alternatively enter the Contest by sending a postcard to the AEBC (PO Box 20262, RPO Town Centre, Kelowna, BC, V1Y 9H2) including their full name, mailing address, telephone number and e-mail address. 6) AEBC reserves the right to require proof of eligibility, in the form required by the AEBC.
