2004-05: Bylaw Amendment Consistency of Terminology

Whereas, the term "vision-impaired" is used throughout the bylaws of the National Federation of the Blind: Advocates for Equality to denote those people who, though legally blind, have some usable vision; and
 

Whereas, current public education materials include the term "partially sighted" when referring to the above-mentioned group:
 

Therefore be it resolved that the term "partially sighted" should be substituted for "vision-impaired" wherever that term is used throughout the organization's bylaws.
