2006-08: Charity vs. Rights
Whereas, sighted Canadians have access to a wide range of services, delivered by various levels of government; and
Whereas, Canadians who are blind, deaf-blind and partially sighted must often rely upon services delivered by charitable organizations;
Therefore, be it resolved that the AEBC advocate for a more mainstream model of service delivery provided by governments as a matter of right, rather than charity.
