2022-04: Collection of Payments for Tickets to Chapter/Affiliate Events

Whereas, chapters/affiliates should be responsible for the logistics and finances of chapter/affiliate events.
Be it resolved that the membership ratify the following Board policy, enacted on January 10, 2022:
That Chapters/affiliates are required to arrange the collection of payments for tickets to events, including fundraising events, by a method other than e transfers from individual participants to National. Alternate methods of payment could include, but are not limited to:
Using Event Bright or similar service to collect the money (adding a couple of dollars to the ticket price to cover the fee) or
The Chapter/Affiliate Treasurer, or their designate, collecting the funds and then submitting one e transfer to
