BC Blind Sports "Run For Light" - May 27

Please join BC Blind Sports & Recreation Association for their 31st annual celebration of "Run For Light" on the evening of Friday, May 27,
2011. The run will start and conclude at Lumberman's Arch in Stanley Park.

BC Blind Sports provides sport and physical recreation activities for British Columbians of all ages and abilities -- from the novice recreational athlete, to the elite athlete competing at the international level. The primary focus of "Run For Light" is to create public awareness and support of their programs and services.

The "warm-up" will begin at approximately 9:02 pm.  BC Blind Sports hopes some of their special guests and their families will participate in this 4.3 km fun run. The run will start at 9:32 pm, as it will be dark enough to maximize the effect of the lightsticks and Run For Light "glow-in-the-dark" T-shirts. As in the past, they expect hundreds of participants of all ages to create a moving glow along the Seawall.

BC Blind Sports hopes that you will share their enthusiasm for this 31st annual celebration of "Run For Light".

To register please visit BC Blind Sports online at  or call the run hotline at 604-321-1638
