Reminder - Dues payment deadlines approaching

The AEBC membership year runs from January 1st to December 31st of each year.  If you have not already renewed for 2013, you should do so very shortly.  As of March 1st, any outstanding memberships will be downgraded to "non member" status and you will not receive the AGM call or other member-only communications as of that date.

Moreover, per Bylaw 13, in order to be able to vote at the AGM (by proxy or in person), you need to have paid your annual dues more than 45 days prior to the commencement of the membership meeting.  This year, the AGM begins on April 26, 2013.  45 days prior takes us to March 12th, 2013.  Ergo, in order to vote, you absolutely must have renewed -- and the national secretary must have been advised of this renewal -- no later than March 11th, 2013.  

Everyone by now should have received a user name and password for the AEBC web site.  You can renew online through PayPal.  Just log in and follow the directions at http://www.blindcanadians.ca/user/faq#q3.  If you do not have or do not remember your user name/password, do not make a new account.  Contact communications@blindcanadians.ca for help retrieving this.
