Redeveloped CRA Web Site Accessibility and Navigability Testing

The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) is redeveloping parts of its Web site to incorporate new guidelines and accessibility standards introduced by the Treasury Board Secretariat (TBS). To ensure the redeveloped site meets the requirements of the new TBS standard, the CRA is conducting a research project with people with disabilities. Research participants will be asked to complete some of the information searches regularly performed on the CRA Web site.

For this particular research project, the target groups will include:

  • people with various degrees of visual impairment; and
  • people with various degrees of physical disability which affect how they use a computer.

The CRA has hired Sage Research Corporation to conduct the interviews. To help organize the research, Sage Research will use the services of Research House, a marketing research field company. Research House has contacted the AEBC to seek out possible candidates, who will be compensated $150 for their time and efforts.

If you are interested in helping, contact Sylvanna at Research House by calling 1-800-701-3137 ext. 443.
