How would you like to see the law (in Ontario) changed?

The Law Commission of Ontatrio is accepting proposals for new law reform projects from individuals and organizations, including the legal profession, the judiciary, community groups, government ministries and agencies, academics and the general public.

The Law Commission of Ontario reviews existing provincial laws to see whether they can be improved or repealed or whether circumstances require new laws. You have an opportunity to tell us how you think the law in Ontario should be different by sending us a proposal for a law reform project.

There is no firm deadline to submit your proposal, however the LCO will begin to to review submissions towards the end of January 2014.

For further information about the Law Commission of Ontario, our funders and supporters, the kinds of projects we have undertaken, how to make a proposal and how we decide which projects to undertake, please go to or contact the LCO at for more information.
