AEBC & AMI to host Canadian Broadcasting Town Hall - April 5, 2014 (in Toronto and via teleconference)

ACCESSIBLE MEDIA INC. AND THE ALLIANCE FOR EQUALITY OF BLIND CANADIANS INVITE YOU TO ATTEND THE ACCESSIBILITY IN CANADIAN BROADCASTING TOWN HALL

Participants will have the unique and unprecedented opportunity to speak with the Executive Director - Broadcasting for the CRTC, Scott Hutton.

Scott Hutton has been the CRTC’s Executive Director - Broadcasting since 2006. In that capacity Scott heads a staff of 80 dedicated professionals dealing with matters relating to Broadcasting. As a member of the CRTC’s senior executive team, he participates in the decision making on corporate operational and policy matters.

The Town Hall will take place from noon to 2pm Eastern Standard Time on Saturday, April 5th at the Cambridge Suites Hotel, 15 Richmond Street East, Toronto.

Please note that the Victoria Room at the Cambridge Suites Hotel can accommodate 90 guests. Reservations to attend in person will be accepted on a first come first served basis.

There is no limit to the number of attendees accepted via teleconference.

A formal registration package with dial-in information and rules of engagement will be provided no later than Monday, March 31st.
