Research on the landscape for Canadian guide dog users

The following announcement has come to our attention. AEBC is not involved in the research effort, but is posting this information for the benefit of the community.

On behalf of CNIB (Canadian National Institute for the Blind) we are in the process of researching the Canadian guide dog landscape and would like to hear your views, opinions and your experience with guide dog organizations in Canada and/or the US. We would very much appreciate it if you could fill in this survey. The following link will take you directly to it.

Your personal experiences will be invaluable to our study and would, hopefully, in the long-term improve the services provided for current guide dog users and potential guide dog users in Canada.

This work is done completely independently of any guide dog organization and your responses will be confidential. No personal details or contact information will be disclosed.

If you would prefer to speak to us on the phone, please send your phone number by email to and we can arrange a time to call you.

Thank you in advance for your participation in this important survey.

Andrew and Karen Hanlon
