In Recognition of our Volunteers

On behalf of the AEBC National Board, Chapter Executives and the BC Affiliate, I would like to sincerely thank our many volunteers who give of their time and expertise throughout the year. Without your on-going commitment to help keep AEBC thriving, we would be at a loss. The assistance you provide is invaluable and truly makes a difference.

April 19, to 25, marks National Volunteer Week and we would like to recognize those who give of themselves so generously by taking on positions as National Board members, various chapter executives, National committees as well as all individuals who act as representatives to affiliated organizations. Volunteers are the wheels that keep any and every organization rolling and AEBC is no exception.

We would like to seize this opportunity to remind you that there is always room for more help. Every extra hand on deck makes for lighter work. Much of that work can be done in spite of the physical distancing we are all experiencing currently. If you find you have the time and would like to volunteer with AEBC but you’re at a loss as to where you might be able to fit in, contact us by E-mail at: President@blindcanadians.ca and we will get in touch with you.

Again, thanks so much to all our volunteers for everything they do.

With sincere appreciation,

Chantal Oakes
National President, Alliance for Equality of Blind Canadians
