Announcing Link Exchange and Website to Website program

Dear Administration:

The Alliance for Equality of Blind Canadians (AEBC) is pleased to announce its link exchange and website to website program. This program includes working with universities and colleges to foster link exchanges and to develop and collaborate on projects of mutual interest.

The AEBC is strongly committed to collaborating with those universities and colleges that are interested in such things as:
Helping Blind students to expand their educational opportunities
Working with Blind students to take advantage of distance learning
Helping Blind students to become more effective advocates for their causes
Working with Blind students and their professors to overcome technological barriers in the classroom.

We believe that the first step would be to initiate a link exchange program and to this end we can start by exchanging links; by posting relevant information about each other and to highlight each other's mission statements on our respective websites.  The AEBC believes that this will be an excellent way for participants in our program to demonstrate what they do, how they do it, and show it off to the rest of the world.  More importantly, for Blind Canadian students to become more aware of how and where they can obtain an education that would include learning how to overcome barriers and challenges as Blind students and one that will enrich their lives with meaningful experiences.

If interested, please send your response to me at djodhan@blindcanadians.ca.  Let us start to build a stronger and more united community; working together and committed together.

Yours sincerely,

Donna J. Jodhan
