Vancouver Chapter

The age range of our membership is from the mid 20's to the mid 70's, which gives us a broad range of experience and wisdom. Our membership has grown significantly over the last year, and the key to that growth has been members inviting others to join the Chapter.

We are active in the community, serving on committees and supporting other advocacy organizations. We meet to discuss issues and exchange information, and one of our goals this fall is to have a town-hall meeting with a presentation by the Canadian Customs and Revenue Agency on how blind, partially sighted and deaf-blind people can prepare their taxes independently.

But it is also important for us to have fun. Recently, we held a summer barbecue, where a good time was had by all.
