Reading regulations isn’t for everyone, yet the proposed regulations could make a difference in the lives of many—if they are strengthened. If you have strong feelings about this proposed benefit, but don’t want to make your own personal submission, please join an online discussion with AEBC on August 7th. Please note that there is a lot of background and analytical text which is just that—it’s not part of the regulations. In my opinion, making comments on the non-regulatory text will not make anything change in the regulations. We have no guarantee that anything will change due to comments made on the proposed regulatory text either, but at least this is the important text where change is necessary. The document we've linked above only contains the proposed regulatory text.
