Halloween Trivia
On Friday, October 30th you are invited to join Ryan and Linda Fleury for Halloween trivia. After Trivia we will take a short break and then Ryan will play the audio described Halloween movie Hocus Pocus. There is no video in this presentation. The invitation is extended to your family and friends.

International Day of Persons with Disabilities Webinar
To mark the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, the Alliance for Equality of Blind Canadians (AEBC) and partner organizations are bringing together several special speakers for an engaging time of insights, ideas, and conversation. Our theme this year is “Expanding the Circle”—so be prepared to expand your own circle!
Expanding the Circle is about making the disability community broader, stronger and more connected. It is an invitation to hear different perspectives, build new relationships and create meaningful space for people whose voices and experiences may not always be part of disability conversations.
Join us for this virtual event to hear from our speakers, explore important issues and celebrate the contributions and experiences of people with disabilities

AEBC UBC Sauder Business Student Project
AEBC has engaged students from the UBC Sauder School of Business to help us strengthen our volunteer recruitment and retention. Over the next few months, the students will examine how we recruit, engage, retain, and support members and volunteers, and how we can build stronger pathways into future leadership roles. As part of this work, they will reach out soon through surveys and other consultation activities.
We encourage all AEBC members and supporters to participate. Your experience and ideas will help shape practical recommendations for how AEBC can grow participation and strengthen volunteer involvement in the years ahead.
