How we see ourselves, hugely influences how we react to both everyday experiences and longer-term changes that affect our lives. Join Joshua Simmonds, a licensed psychologist, who will help us to understand this as it relates to vision loss and blindness.

Josh is legally blind due to retinitis pigmentosa. For over 20 years Josh has maintained a private practice in Montreal where he offers psychotherapy for adults, children, and families. Using a collaborative approach informed by experiences in educational institutions, hospital clinics and research settings, Josh offers empirically based psychotherapy that is mindful of individual differences and cultural influences. Areas of expertise include depression, anxiety, workplace stress, vision impairment, parenting, and child behavior.
