Make Your Community More Accessible — AEBC Has Your Back

If you’re under 30 and want to lead something that makes a real difference in accessibility in your community, there’s a grant program designed just for you. It gives young leaders the chance to volunteer their time and skills to create more accessible spaces, services, or opportunities for people with disabilities.

Applications are open from May 30, 2025, to October 6, 2025, at 3:00 pm EDT.

What does it fund? Projects that improve physical or digital accessibility, remove barriers, and promote inclusion. Anything that helps people with disabilities engage fully in their communities. Your idea, if thoughtful and practical, could qualify.

How AEBC Can Help You

  • Brainstorm with you to sharpen your project idea so it meets the grant criteria

  • Review your draft application and highlight what to emphasize

  • Help you map out a realistic timeline and budget that looks strong to reviewers

  • Connect you to people, resources, or partners if your project needs them

What You Should Do Now

  1. Think about the barriers in your community and where accessibility could improve

  2. Shape that into a concrete project idea: what, who, how, and the impact

  3. Reach out to AEBC early so we can work with you before the application deadline

  4. Mark the deadline clearly: October 6, 2025, at 3:00 pm EDT

If you’re interested, send us a quick message with your idea and we’ll get going. This is your chance to lead something meaningful, make things better, and gain valuable experience.
