The passing of John Ray is very sad news. John taught many of us the meaning of advocacy and the sense of justice that motivated him to work so Alan Conway John loved Bluegrass music. John tried to explain Bluegrass music to me, and said it involved the following: prisons, trains, cabins John also came to the Ottawa Grassroots Festival both for real and virtually last year.

Sadly, I will be on the road, where John would have wanted me to be: Making music and giving concerts John and I met at a pub concert I gave in Toronto, back in 2008 or so. He was a mensch! It was a goal of his to join me for a tour in Ireland.

I first heard of John Rae when as president of OPSEU Local 714, I attended Members with Disability caucus Through out their time on the caucus John Rae and Carol McGregor were the knowledge on the caucus, not Rae as president of the AEBC in Toronto. John gave his written presentation in braille. JOHN Is not like that.
